Elise McDonald '24 Recruiting Profile

Hello. My name is Elise McDonald and I've been a varsity volleyball athlete for the last three years. Ever since starting to play volleyball as a Freshman, I have found a great passion and love for the sport, which has created my desire to play volleyball beyond high school. I am very dedicated athlete and I work consistently in the off seasons to find new ways to improve. I've been the starting varsity setter for my Freshman, Sophomore, and Junior years. Although I have mainly played the setter position, I love playing defense and am always open to playing defensive positions such as libero or DS. Coaches have told me that I have very good leadership skills on the court, which allows my team to play better as a whole. As of now, I plan to major in an engineering related field and I will maintain my excellent standards for academics while in college. I believe that my athletic and academic qualities make me a great candidate to play volleyball at the college level.
