Personal Statement

Hello my name is Emily Blank. I am 6' 3" outside hitter/ right side hitter/ middle blocker from Temperance MI. I am soon going into my 6th year of club competition, my 4th with Toledo Volleyball Club. My High School season for Bedford has ended with an appearance in the final four for class A volleyball in Michigan.

I am open to any location across the country for college. Ideally I would love to experience playing for a larger school with a great "college town" atmosphere. I am very serious about playing collegiate volleyball and maintaining a high-level of play. I am looking for an institution where I can find the right balance between the classroom and court. Ideally, my athletic environment would be one where I could make an impact on the team. I believe my best fit would be at the DI or DII level.

Off the volleyball court, grades are very important to me. I work hard to be the best I can be in every aspect of my life. I also competed on the Varisty Girls Basketball team my sophomore year.
