Ashley Johnston '20 Recruiting Profile

My name is Ashley Johnston. Volleyball has taught me self discipline and what it takes to be a true athlete. I started volleyball in 6th grade and have wnated to continue to Grow from then on. I believe I’m a good volleyball player because I’m always bringing others up even when I’m down and I very self motivated whether it’s staying after hours to get one skill down or helping another teammate. Volleyball has created a special place in my heart. I play for a small school in MI called Byron Area High School, I played on junior varsity my freshman and sophomore years where I grew a ton and was moved up for districts my sophomore year.  

I would love to take volleyball as far as far as I can take it, I play volleyball 11/12 months in the year and I never wanna stop Playing. I love to play volleyball becuase it gives you a second family to look back on and makes you feel like home even when your away from home.
