Personal Statement
I've been playing volleyball since I was in 3rd grade. I also played basketball, softball, and was on the swim team. But, I knew early on that volleyball was my true love when I played my first competitive club season at age 13. I've always been a hard worker and always put in a little bit extra so I can be the best I possibly can. When I'm not playing volleyball, I enjoy baking, crafting, and being with my family. My work ethic also carries over to my academics. I have had straight A's since elementary school and I always work hard to keep it that way. I am currently enrolled in several honors classes such as Honors Chemistry, Honors Algebra 2, Honors Language Arts, as well as a weighted-grade, advanced, Engineering class. I plan to continue taking challenging math and science courses and to one day major in Chemical Engineering. I hope to play for a competitive collegiate program at a university that also strongly emphasizes academics.
