Personal Statement

 I am a sophomore in college and I am looking to transfer to another 4 year college that can offer me a scholarship. I am playing right now with North Carolina Central university which is a Division 1 school but I am not receiving any scholarship. I am majoring in Broadcast Journalism with a 4.0 college GPA. I have been playing Division 1 volleyball for 2 years. I am also having defense specialist training with Keisha Demps from Triangle volleyball. This is to say, that I am open to any offer and I have requested my release form.  Please do not hesitate to contact me. 

I got the ability to anticipate the moves of the opponent and this allows me to move around the court faster in order to defense and received and also cover. I’m very focus to help my peers at court communicating the opposite game strategy.  I Posses an offensive jumped service and have the ability to identify the weakness of the other team to get the ball to the right place.  Also, my jump measured 8’4 so if is necessary I can spike the ball, and I got 5 years of experience playing as an outside hitter. In case that I got the second pass I can help the setter due to I do a good set. I am different from the other recruit in having a good discipline, maintain anger control when the match is in a bad situation, maintaining my good grades, be a leader, having a excellent physical condition. I enroll to the USAV HP tryout on March 6 in Raleigh convention center, my mother manage to take a video and I participate for the Carolina Region tryout due to there wasn't many girls to form a group of 17 it was cancelled. I continue to take private lessons with Keisha Demp to maintain and refine more my abilities.

  • What makes our showcase unique is our responsiveness to the needs of our student-­-athletes as well as collegiate coaches. In considering their requests and needs, we have developed a format that allows for the most effective and efficient use of time for all participants. In order to accomplish this, our staff includes highly trained experts in the volleyball community from both the eastern and western regions of the state of North Carolina and Virginia. Our Court Coaches provide guidance and instruction on the court during drill work and court play. Our Skill Evaluators evaluate each student-­-athlete to identify strengths, weaknesses and overall skill level, relative to the all participants.The purpose of our showcase event is to connect NCAA and NAIA Volleyball Coaches to high school student-­-athletes with high academic records. Players who qualify academically, are provided an opportunity to perform in front of college recruiters in this action-­-packed showcase event.   • The CAROLINA HIGH POTENTIAL CAMP is one of our most popular training camps for the player interested in a more intense and longer camp experience. This camp is similar in format as our previously very popular named Nike HP Camp. This advanced training camp will continue to cater to the experienced volleyball player that is looking for a competitive camp experience where she can work on improving all of her volleyball skills. All UNC coaches will be in attendance and training campers along with other college coaches from various levels of NCAA Division I, II, III, and NAIA and Junior colleges as well as and top level club coaches and collegiate athletes. This camp is designed for advanced players looking to train for four days, while competing against other high level players from throughout the country. Note: we recommend that participants in this camp are experienced and have played at least one full year of competitive volleyball on a Varsity, Junior Varsity or USAV junior team, this is not designed for players who are new to the sport, but for experienced players who have the basics of the game established.
