What does it mean to live the college experience to its fullest? For me, it means making friends and creating memories that will last a lifetime. I can think of no better way to make those friends and create those memories than by playing college volleyball. This sport became a passion of mine shortly after I joined my first club volleyball team when I was 10 years old. Since that time, I have played on club teams that compete at the national level, and the high school team I play on is always competitive and always in the mix for a state championship. Volleyball has already given me so much, specifically, the opportunity to make a lot of friends and create a ton of memories with those friends.…I am going to do everything I can to make sure those opportunities don't end in college. 

I have been a Libero/DS for most of my volleyball career. It feels like the volleyball court (specifically, the back row) is a second home for me at this point...or maybe it's my first home, who knows. I truly enjoy being part of a TEAM; a group who has a common goal, and a group who puts the team goals in front of individual goals. I know I fit well in that type of environment because I am that type of person. To add onto that, my energy on the court is infectious, and I thrive on being the "sparkplug" of the team. Leadership is an important aspect of this game and I feel like I have certain leadership skills that benefit a team. They may not be your traditional leadership skills, but my positive energy, encouragement, and "Next Play" mentality serve both my teammates and myself as well.
