My name is Bridget Walsh, I am a junior and play volleyball for Walter Panas High School, and a club team, Downstate 17 Black. I am a middle blocker for both teams, and I was captain for my varsity team last year as a junior and this upcoming year as a senior. I volunteer as a coach for a youth team, and referee the games as well. I love the game of volleyball with the intensity it brings and the new people I meet on each team. Its a great way to stay in shape as well as being active throughout my life. I am really looking forward to going to college and hopefully playing. I am committed to both school and the game of volleyball. My intended major that I hope to study is physical therapy or sports management.
