Hello, my name is Hayley Eaton and I am a Senior pin (class of 2024) at James A. Beneway High School in Wayne County, New York. My primary position is opposite hitter, but I also find myself playing other positions. On the court, I am willing to play any position that needs to be filled and strive to be a versatile player. As an opposite, being left handed aids in my competitiveness. In the future, I aspire to go on to compete at a challenging and competitive level of volleyball in college. I would consider myself to be a "late developer" in the game, as I began my journey in eighth grade. Although that did set me back in the recruiting process, I fell in love with the game and have progressed with my skills quickly. I feel like I have great potential, and I am looking for a tough coach to really push me to become a strong collegiate athlete. I have quickly become very passionate about volleyball and am committed to continuously improving- whether that means private lessons, camps, lifting weights, or extra work at home. I also play beach volleyball during the off season. One of the most important aspects of volleyball to me is my relationship with my teammates, and how we connect. Volleyball is so much more than just a "sport" to me- my teammates are family. Along with athletics, I strive to work hard in the classroom as well. I am continuously working to raise my average and maintain good grades in school.I am very excited to see what college offers for me and I hope to talk soon!
