Elise Gurley '25 Recruiting Profile

Hi my name is Elise Gurley. I'm a DS/Libero and class of '25. My ultimate goal is to play volleyball at the college level. I'm very committed to the sport and strive to achieve team and personal goals.

I am very passionate about volleyball and have always loved the game of volleyball. Anytime I get the chance to get my hands on a ball I will, whether that would be an optional practice or drills at home or any activity where I can improve my game, I'll do it!

I think what makes me different from other athletes is my drive to always get better and my work ethic. In practice I always work as hard as I possibly can and I made a goal for myself to always improve from the last time I was in the gym. An example of that, I would say, is to get one more good defense ball than my last practice or to be a little more encouraging to my teammates than I was the last time.
