Personal Statement
I have been playing volleyball for about 4 years and started out as a right side because I am left handed. I noticed I hit harder, and more accurate, as a right handed hitter. The switch of hands made me want to try middle and I just fell in love with the position instantly. I love the game and the competition. I am dynamic because I am fun and cheer everyone up, but I know when its time to get serious and work hard. I love the team spirit, and tough competition. While I have passion for the sport, school and grades are a priority. I have interests in math and science, those subjects come naturally to me and I hope to use these skills in my career. One of my other passions, besides volleyball, is photography. I am proud to share that I won a silver and gold key award for my photographs. I have been on honor roll since sixth grade and won the prestigious "Goshen Greats" award (issued to a handful of students each quarter) two years in a row. I look forward to the honor of making my team and school proud of the contributions I deliver both academically and athletically. Go Team!!!
