Sydnee Jones '20 Recruiting Profile

  I am a 6'0'' middle hitter from North Royalton, Ohio and will be graduating in the class of 2020. I pride myself on being coachable because of my ability to pick up on things quickly. I recently completed my Junior season of high school volleyball at North Royalton where I have been a varsity starter since my freshman year. This past high school season was awarded 1st Team All District and 2nd Team All Conference, which was my 2nd season receiving recognition in these areas.  I led my team in kills, hitting percentage, and overall blocks. This upcoming JO season I am going to play on Maverick’s Elite 17U team after playing up on the Elite 17U team last season. My love and passion for this sport continues to make me grow as a player and as a person, on and off the court. 

  Academically, I am a straight A student and am always putting forth my best effort in all of my classes, including honors courses. I am in multiple clubs at my school including KEY club, STAND, Lettermen's Club, Link Crew, and I was recently accepted into National Honor Society. As a person, I always show the upmost respect to all of my peers, teachers, and of course my parents who have shaped me into the mature, hardworking girl I am to this day. All of my experiences thus far qualify me to be a great candidate for joining your college volleyball program.
