My name is Alexis Lyons, and I am a Libero/DS for the class of 2019. I am 5'6" and have a strong jump serve and exceptional hustle. I've been playing volleyball since I was eleven and I love it more and more everyday. Volleyball is my passion and I would love the opportunity to play in college. As I step on the court, I no longer think of anything else except how to make myself and my team stronger. Winning is very important, but winning to me also means continuing to grow and inspiring my team to give their all.
I like to help others and would like to work in the medical field and am considering anesthesiology, physical therapy and nursing. My current GPA is a 3.28 and I plan to work hard and improve my GPA to a 3.5+ this year. I play for Positively Charged 18s Mizuno team in Milford, Ohio.
I have a total of 6 years Jr High/ High School playing experience and 3 years of club volleyball. I attended multiple volleyball summer camps as well and was named 2nd team all-conference this year (an injury kept me out for part of the season). I was honored to be 1st team all-conference last year and was a varsity starter and MVP for my sophomore, junior and senior years.
Thank you for taking the time to review my profile.
