Brooke Edwards '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Brooke Edwards & I am a Hitter turned DS/ Libero. I started playing at 7 years old & as soon as I stepped on the court I fell in love with the game. 

For the majority of my career I was an outside hitter until my 14’s year when I tore my ACL & meniscus. I knew at that point I had to make the decision to work as hard as I possibly could to get back on the court and I did just that. It was definitely one of the hardest things I’ve been through. Coming back from my injury I transitioned to DS/Libero and it has worked out great for me due to my experience as a hitter and being able to read the hitters across the net pretty good. 

Another thing I love about volleyball is that it’s a team sport! I love being a teammate just about as much as I love playing. Playing in college has always been a dream for me and I’m willing to put in the hard work it takes to make that dream come true!
