Personal Statement
I began playing volleyball in sixth grade, and throughout my junior high and high school years I felt my love for the game begin to grow stronger. This desire to play urged me to try out for a team with the local Horseshoe Volleyball Club. During my first year of club volleyball, my team faced tougher opponents than I had ever seen before. I found myself becoming addicted to the sport and competition, which ultimately lead me to pursue a college career in volleyball.
As a setter, I find leadership and communication to be one of the most important aspects in my part of the game. I push myself in the classroom, on the court, and in the weight room in order to grow as a student-athlete for the benefit of myself and my teammates. I believe that my character, work ethic, mental toughness, and knowledge of the game will make a huge impact on your program. I'm ready to become the quarterback on your court!
