Personal Statement
My name is Morgan Popielarcheck and I am currently a senior at Jamestown Area JR/SR High School. I am also enrolled in the early childhood education program in our district’s vocational school. My sport and passion is volleyball and I play all year round. I am a middle hitter/blocker and opposite for my club team and play all front row positions in high school but my primary position is a middle hitter/blocker. I am a three year varsity letter winner, earning my first letter at Villa Maria Academy my freshman year and my last two during my sophomore and junior years at Jamestown. This high school season has been my best year statistically and I look forward to my ending my high school career by continuing to improve all aspects of my game.
The goals I have set for myself are to graduate high school and attend college as a student athlete majoring in education. Going to a vocational school, I am already gaining experience I will utilize in becoming a teacher. I want to graduate college with a major in education and a duel minor in special education and theology.
After graduation, I want to become a coach in both high school and club and educate young men and women on and off the court like my coaches and teachers have done for me.
And just a little side note that you may not know about me, I am a type one diabetic athlete and nothing can stop me from conquering my goals.
