Personal Statement
My name is Jessica Douglas and I started playing volleyball when I was in the seventh grade. My freshman year I was pulled up to varsity and was a setter and right side hitter. I transferred to South Carolina Connections Academy, an online public school my sophomore year and will be graduating in June. I have played volleyball at Fairfield Central High School and played as a setter and outside hitter. I have always hope to play volleyball at the highest level I could in college. I am currently playing for Lake Murray Volleyball Club on their 18u power team as the OPP as the back up setter in a 5-1 offense. I am able to jump serve and position serve. I believe to be a good athlete you have to work hard and dedicate yourself to both on the court and in the classroom. My proudest moments in volleyball was getting my first pancake, getting Alll-Region, MVP, and Eagle award.
