Brianna Johnston '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Brianna Johnston, but everyone calls me “Bri”. I’m a Junior at Wylie High School in Abilene Texas and a Christian athlete. I first started playing volleyball when I was 8 years old; from the very moment I picked up a volleyball is when I fell in love with it. Volleyball is my place of escape; this sport makes me feel at peace. God has worked wonders in my life, but giving me my athletic ability is something I’ll forever be grateful for. Every time I go on the court, it’s not the people  that drive me to do my best, it is my Lord and Savior. I know that God has blessed me with this sport for a reason and I want to honor him in all I do. No matter what it takes, I will give my all to this sport; for my teammates, coaches, but more importantly Jesus. My ultimate goal is to compete at the collegiate level. This has been my dream since I was a little girl. I am highly coachable, self driven, and determined. I will do anything to help out my team weather that be playing a different position, running different plays, etc. I am ready to do anything it takes to be successful. I cant wait to see the plans God has for me!
