My name is Zoe Sadler and I am a current Sophomore at Blue Ridge High School. I pride myself on my ability to maintain the highest grades, all A's, while playing varsity volleyball for my school team, club volleyball and track and field. My passion is animals, people and volleyball. I do not know exactly which direction I want to go into in the medical field but I do believe that is where my heart lies. I've been looking into veterinary medicine, pediatric counseling and a registered nurse anesthetist. My mother works with seizure patients and is a former nurse. I enjoy hearing her stories about patient interactions and relationships and know I want to help people in some way. I have always loved animals and have taken it upon myself at a very early age to research and learn everything I can about animals, specifically farm animals. Volleyball has been such a big part of my life since I was in the third grade. My mother loves to tell the story of the summer before my third grade year. She announced to me that she had signed me up for a volleyball season with our local rec team and I was so upset I cried. I told her that I did not like volleyball, I had no idea how to play and I never wanted to play. She said that I had to try things and if I still didn't like it when the season was over I didn't have to play again. The very first night of practice I walked onto the court and when practice was over I was still there over an hour later begging the coach to keep practicing with me because I loved it so much! I look forward to trying my hardest at every match and while I know that you can't win them all I love going onto the court and giving it my all! I am a libero through and through. I practice my outside hits and sets and frequently DS but I've always played libero and truly love the spot! I'm low to the ground so I do well at it LOL.
