My name is Bella Green, thanks for taking the time to view my profile.
I have been playing volleyball at the competitive level for seven years. I completely adore this sport. My primary position is opposite, but I have played setter, middle, outside and middle back. I started playing volleyball as a setter, but during my sophomore year my high school team needed a middle. I love to contribute to the team and I love learning. I switched to middle and gave it my all. I dedicated my time and effort to middle which lead to a starting position on the varsity team as a sophomore. I played middle through my club season as well. The next season, I was presented with another learning opportunity. My coach asked me to play opposite. Once again I studied and dedicated myself to learning the opposite position. I started varsity my junior year as an opposite. I continued playing opposite through the 2020-21 club season. So far, opposite has been my favorite position. I love spending time with my teammates on and off the court. There is nothing more important than team work. I love taking on new challenges like learning a new position or in my case several new positions.
I love to learn, some of my favorite subjects in school are, Spanish and Science. I am looking at Pre-Med or Nursing; I love to help people so the health care field is very interesting to me. I have a 3.8 GPA and I am taking two AP classes this upcoming school year. Those classes are AP Spanish and Ap English Lang Comp. At my school I am part of the Student Ambassador Program that helps new students that are native Spanish speakers that do not have very good english. We show them around the school and help them with homework all through the school year. Academics are very important to me.
