While still exploring a variety of career options, I am seeking a diverse and supportive college with strong educational, athletic, and internship opportunities. Though my height is not extraordinary, I take pride in my dedication to the factors that I can control: hard work, determination, discipline, perseverance, and continual self-improvement. I am a versatile player, always willing to take on challenges and step up to meet the needs of my team. I have played every position at some point on my school or club teams and as a result, I have developed a strong understanding of the game and the ability to implement various offensive and defensive strategies. I respect my coaches, teammates, and opponents by demonstrating positive attitude and behavior on the court as well as a commitment to physical conditioning and skills practice off the court.
I respond well to coaches who challenge me to take my skills to the next level. Volleyball has been my passion since I was 10 years old and despite having ADHD, the sport has taught me focus, self-discipline, teamwork, and resilience that have helped me to succeed in the classroom and life. If you are seeking a committed player who is open to hard work, guidance, and continued growth, it would be my pleasure to be considered for your program.
