Marisa Krivanec '25 Recruiting Profile

I attended Stonebridge Christian school until age 14. I am a junior at Nansemond Suffolk Academy in Virginia. I have played eight years of volleyball. I also play for Peake Volleyball Academy (formerly Stonebridge Volleyball Club) and am one of the original members. I started playing volleyball on the JJV team at Stonebridge and was on the JV team at NSA during my freshman year. I have been on the varsity team at NSA as a starter for two consecutive years.  I have traveled many places during my club season, and have won 1st place championships for most of our tournaments. I have grown so much as a player every year. My jersey number is 10 at NSA and PVA. I am an outside hitter and also play middle hitter. I can play many positions. I love to stay on top of the ball. I am consistent in killing, digging, and serving the ball. I just reached over 300 kills and 350 digs in my varsity career. In 2023. I am ranked in the top 14 in Virginia for 1 stat, top 13 in VISAA II for 1 stat and top 5 in VISAA  D2 for  VISAA 2 for 1 stat.  I am an honor roll student. I am currently enrolled in an introduction to sports medicine class. I hope to attend college and major in Sports Medicine. I would love the opportunity to play volleyball at the college I attend. I was on the All Conference team for 2022 and 2023. My school team (NSA) won 1st place in the TCIS 2023 Tidewater Conference of Independent Schools tournament and are the 2023 Division 2 VISAA Virginia state champions.
