Isabelle Joyner '23 Recruiting Profile

Hi, I'm Isabelle Joyner (I go by Izzy). I am a  5'8" l45 lb. high school senior in Virginia.  I will be graduating in June 2023, and I have a 3.7 GPA.  My primary positions are setter and right side, but I have also played outside hitter. I have been playing volleyball since fourth grade.  I currently attend C.D. Hylton High School where I was a starting setter on my freshman team my freshman year, and then my sophomore year I was a starter on my varsity team and have continued on varisty as a starting player ever since. I played setter, right side and outside hitter for my varsity team. I have always been a starter for my club teams as well. I have 5 years of club experience. It is my dream to play volleyball in college. I absolutely love the game and have a passion for it. I am an excellent asset for any team. I always want to get better and better in any way I can. I love hearing feedback about my skills and learning new things. I am very diligent and I am a hard worker in every aspect of life. I would love to attend college in California, but I have also considered schools in Florida, New York, or staying local in Virginia. I am open to many different locations and types of schools, but I would prefer to attend a larger university so I can get the full college experience. My desired major is criminal justice or education. If possible, I would love to play volleyball all four years in college.
