Autumn Mayo '16 Recruiting Profile

My name is Autumn Mayo a 5'9" OH/RS student athlete recently relocated from the state of Montana to Vancouver, WA. I currently carry a 3.5 GPA and would like to study mass communication with a minor in psychology. I played varsity volleyball for the last two seasons (2013 - 2014) under Head Coach, Tiffany Hofer, at Helena High School in Helena, MT. Additionally, I have participated on a club team, Capital City Volleyball, from 2010 - 2014. In 2013, I was a Sophomore player on the Helena High team that took third place at the Montana state tournament, in Bozeman, MT.

In January 2015 I relocated / transferred with my family to Vancouver, Washington where I enrolled as a Junior at Battle Ground High School. (BGHS)  I'm currently the starting Opposite at BGHS. (Fall 2015) BGHS is the number one ranked 4A team in the state of Washington entering the third week of the 2015 season. Additionally, I play club volleyball for the Excel Northwest Volleyball Club in Vancouver, participating on the U18 team. Upon my transfer, as a virtual unknown player to the Vancouver area, I earned a starting position on my Excel club team, and local high school team, which respectively are among the top club and high school teams in the Northwest.
 
I'm a powerful hitter and explosive jumper with a verified 26.5" vertical jump, and I play with great enthusiasm and intensity on the court. Additionally, I demonstrate discipline in the classroom. Furthermore, I'm confident that I can be a very valuable addition to any college volleyball program.
