Hi my name is Mikaela Marazita, I will be a rising junior at Centralia High School and will be attending Centralia college for running start for the 2023-2024 school year. I have maintained a 3.5 GPA throughout high school so far. I'm a competitive player and thrive for competition but work well on a court together with others, having a good relationships with teammates will separate ones team from another. I primarily play outside hitter but i believe myself to a all around 6 position player and will fill depending on what is needed. I believe myself to be a valuable aspect to a team, very supportive of one another, I'm a flexible and adaptive player. Playing in a high division for college is a set goal of mine and I've been working hard to achieve that on and off the the court. Freshman year I was put on Junior Varsity, it was a let down to me but pushed me to be a better player, being underestimated gave me the chance to make a difference and prove people wrong. I was a varsity swinger throughout my freshman year. I made my way up to varsity my sophomore year and our team made it to districts, we lost in the first round. It was a learning experience but it drives me to be a better player. I do not have a specific course I want to major in college yet but have been leaning towards forensic phycology or pre med to study.
