Personal Statement

I started wrestling my freshman year thinking it would just be for fun and keep me in shape for my other sports. I had no intentions on making it a huge passion in my life but it did. Ever since I stepped on the mat, at sectionals, my freshman year and ended up getting eliminated from going to state. A fire was lit in me, I wanted to be better, I knew I had what it takes and I haven't looked back since. Wrestling definitely tests your mental toughness and how much you are willing to challenge yourself. I love that about it, I don't want it to end and would like to pursue wrestling in college. I wanna see how far I can go and what I can accomplish. I’m definitely hard working and am always striving to be a better wrestler. I love trying to bring my team up and motivate them but also have fun. Have a smile on my face and have some giggles but also tell them this is where you fight, never give up. The atmosphere with a wrestling team I will hold with me forever. I can truly say its made me a better and stronger person.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
