I am Kelley Brown, and I took an interest in wrestling later in the year of 2022 because I sought out to find an outlet for my emotional control and release. Pretty early joining the sport and still going, I figured out that I am committed to this sport as well as the team I am on entirely. Not only do I want to do this in college but also go into the military which I am currently working on by takin part in JROTC. I recently graduated with a physical fitness award that are given to top 5% of graduates from the “Devil Pups” program hosted by the United States Marine Core. My coaches, my family, and most of all myself, believe that I can go very far in this sport. I always make sure to do what's best for my team even if it requires doing something I do not want to do. I always push myself as well as my teammates because at the end of the day, we compete together even though it is an individual sport. I always push myself to be the best I can be and reach my goals that I set as I go through this wrestling journey. I took an interest in planning to go to college for wrestling when I figured out that I have a chance in doing so, that only made me push and train harder as well as the ones around me, bugged my coaches for extra training and technique and even go as far as wrestling my coaches from time to time. My team getting better means that I also get better which is very important to me.
