I aspire to attend a Division 1 college to wrestle and study something in the medical field or engineering. I am planning to be an anesthesiologist or biomedical engineer. I have been wrestling since I was 5 years old. I am currently in my Freshman year of High School with all AP/Honors classes and a 4.17 GPA. My Freshman year record was 37-5. Our team placed second in 1A Team State Duals. I am ACAC Conference Champion and Sectional Champion. I placed 4th at Regional and was a semi-state qualifier. In 8th grade, I was 26-0, pinning 24 and winning by Tech Fall for the other two. I also wrestled several individual tournaments during wrestling season and was 18-4 during that time. I placed 4th at ISWA 16u State Tournament at 138 lbs. I finished 7th in IHSWCA Middle School State and finished 6th in 16u ISWA Freestyle State last spring. I wrestle 6 days a week with Madman Wrestling Academy and Warrior RTC clubs. I lift weights 4 days a week with a personal trainer and work on speed and agility as well. I attend church with my family and value hard work, determination and setting goals. I also run a family business of growing and selling sweetcorn. I work in the fields all spring and summer and pick the corn by hand. We have a stand that I sell sweet corn from for about 5 weeks. I wake up early each day to pick the corn and do personal sales, count and record sells, take and fill orders, deal with customers, etc. I strive daily to reach the goals I am setting for myself. I am a team player and work hard to help others improve as well as myself. I am a quiet leader. I lead by example through hard work, determination and kindness. My coaches would say that my will is unlike any other, yet I am kind and compassionate to all those around me. I am a good sport, yet am determined to win each match.
