My name is Alex Turner, I am a freshman who is currently a first year wrestler at Highmark Charter School. Where I placed 2nd at Regions after injuring my neck 4 weeks earlier wrestling up 40 pounds. I have a 4.0 GPA withs plans to take an AP classes during my sophomore year at Northridge High School in Layton, Utah. Where I will continue working on wrestling. I am a hard worker that doesn't know when to quit and put my heart into anything I'm doing. I push the people around me to be at their best. My goal is to wrestling at the college level and make an impact where ever I go.
Letter of recommendation from coach:
To whom it may concern,
Alex Turner is a great young man and would make your program, school, or business better. I had the opportunity to be Alex’s wrestling coach. This young man went above and beyond every single practice and match. I have coached lots of kids over the years, good wrestlers and smart kids, but what was so cool about Alex was his desire to improve himself and his technique.
Dedication, hard work, and perseverance are how I would describe Alex. While these words do a good job describing the type of person he is, his greatest attribute is courage. Courage to try new things, courage to be a team captain, and the courage to keep going when things got difficult.
I sure enjoyed coaching Alex, and if you make the decision to select him for your organization I assure you that your program will be that much better, mine sure was.
Please feel free to contact me so that we can discuss how Alex will help your program
