Wrestling is my heartfelt passion and I aspire to continue competing and wrestling in high school and college. This summer, I had fantastic wrestling opportunities to learn and highly demanding tournaments. My solid work ethic and overall commitment to personal excellence earned me a spot at several varsity matches last year as a sophomore as well as academic accolades. Every day, I remain committed to physical training with wrestling coaches, training clinics, weight lifting, running, calisthenics, and daily exercise. I also make time to study for my SAT/ACT upcoming exams.
I aspire to become a psychiatrist one day. In preparation for this adventure, I am generally interested in pre-med college programs and competitive collegiate wrestling. Ultimately, I would like to open my own wellness practice as a physician entrepreneur and pay it forward. One of my personal goals is to coach individuals and children with building healthy, mental and physical mindsets.
My passion, dedication, and support of my high school wrestling team is consistent. I make it a point to remember the faces and names of all my teammates and I welcome them with daily encouragement. I am a solid team player. This produces a resilient mindset and it builds camaraderie.
As a junior this year, I am looking forward to competing with my team at Loudoun County High School as well as outside tournaments. This summer, I remained active and attended weekly training; wrestling clinics; and tournaments. I intend to continue this steady momentum of competitions, tournaments, and the application of fresh wrestling techniques on the mat year-round. I am ready for junior year!
I always aim to exceed my goals of personal excellence. As a student-leader, I test and push myself daily in academics, sports, and physical exercise. I set very high standards for myself and once I achieve my goals, I create a higher level of personal growth and development. I work very hard to achieve my goals on a daily basis. I also volunteer my time at Mobile Hope and our senior community.
Over the years, I have thrived academically and I will continue to drive myself to earn the highest academic certificates and awards from our U.S. President, the Virginia House of Delegates, and my schools. As for wrestling, I am grateful for each and every opportunity I receive to compete with my team, as I am given the chance to demonstrate my full potential, growth, and capacity as a student-athlete.
I constantly push myself academically and physically because becoming an exceptional scholar and wrestler is ingrained in my work ethic, perseverance, discipline, and drive.
Personal excellence is a lifelong journey - not a final destination.
Thank you for your time.
