What the Coaches are Saying...
Sep 11, 2018

“We are a new program that's just wrapped up our third season as a Division I team in the Coastal Collegiate Swimming Association (CCSA). This year we score twice as many points as last year and had a program high 7th place team finish. We're definitely on the move and would love to bring in swimmers who can bring three things to the table: 1. Good People - We want our swimmers to be great people who will bring positive leadership to the existing team. Our team is a family and we only want to bring in ladies that will improve the team/family dynamic already in place. 2. Great Academics: UNC Asheville is a highly respected academic institution. As a team we have been CSCAA Team Academic All-Americans for five-straight semesters, the entirety of the program, and we're not looking to break that streak. 3. Fast Swimmers: Obviously. We want to be able to continue to improve each year and that means bringing in faster swimmers with each recruiting class. If those things resonate with you and your value system, please don't hesitate to contact Head Coach Elizabeth Lykins or Assistant Coach Rebecca Westfall.”
