Michael Sellers '15 Recruiting Profile

My name is Michael Sellers. I'm a 5'9" 155 lb Freshman at Trinity Presbyterian School in Montgomery, AL. I have made all A's my entire life, and I am in all the most advanced classes my school has to offer. I have a 4.2143 GPA, while playing two sports. I have played baseball my whole life. I started with league ball when I was 3. I have a late May birthday, so I have always played up a division and been successful. When I was 11, I chose a team named the Diamond Kutterz and have started at shortstop and been the main pitcher for 4 years. 

 I made the baseball team at school as an 8th grader(my first year of eligibility), and I am now a Freshman starter at 3rd base on the JV team. I am also frequently in the pitching rotation. I'm trying to get a jumpstart on recruiting because I don't want to be in the situation that I've seen some seniors be in. They waited too long to get their name out there, and even though they were great athletes, they didn't get recruited. I want to go to a college with a great academic reputation, while having a good baseball program as well. I want to finish my education, majoring in either Sports Medicine, Physical Therapy, or Pre-Law, and continue to play baseball at the next level.
