My name is Zach Johnson and my drive comes from a simple quote: "Hard work beats talent when talent doesn't work hard". My twin brother and I have used this simple phrase to push, drive and develop our skills as we have competed against each other from the time we first walked on the baseball field at the age of 4. There has been a lot tears, sweat and even some blood as we have battled each other for position after position only to make each one better. As Proverbs 27:17 states: "Iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another". I consider myself a super utility player able to play wherever I am asked to play, always giving my all. I just want to play ball, be in the everyday lineup and display the character God and my parents would expect from me.
