Benjamin Turner '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Benjamin Turner and I am starting my Senior year in Southeast Alaska this fall. I am 6'2" and 200 lbs. I have been a competitive swimmer and baseball player for more than ten years and have recently started competing on the court in basketball as well. I currently play third base, shortstop, first base, and am a right-handed pitcher. 

I've always enjoyed being active and competing but also understand that performing well on the field comes second to doing well in class. I do work hard at school and consistently perform well academically. I look forward to the challenges that that my senior year in high school will bring and continuing to work hard through it all.

I envision my college years to be a personal growth period. My goal is to explore a computer science major that will position me well in the field of engineering. On the baseball field, I plan to be a dynamic player and positive influence on the team. As I grow both physically and mentally throughout my college baseball career, I will strive to be an asset to the team. Most importantly, I will conduct myself with honor and respect on and off the field, knowing that the way I carry myself reflects on my team, my coaches and the school I attend.
