- Baseball Factory Scouting report 09/27/2023 - Arizona Senior Fall Classic (2024) Cody continues to show improvements in his baseball abilities at the Arizonia SR Fall Classic. Foot speed has improved as he ran his best 60 time to date, now a 6.97 runner. At 2B, he displays smooth / clean actions. Feet are active as attacks balls and plays through well with his body. Glove action is soft / sure and presents well out front. Throws are accurate but will benefit by building more arm strength through a long toss program. He utilizes his foot quickness in covering a lot of ground. At the plate, he continues to shine through an athletic, open setup. Hands are quick (84 mph exit velocity) and work through a level swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields with gap-to-gap pop. Power will increase as he utilizes his lower half more efficiently. Mental makeup is a plus as he has a great personality, is very coachable and works hard to be the best player he can be
