Hunter Bagshaw '20 Recruiting Profile

Objective:

• In addition to acquiring a quality education, I’m seeking a baseball program and coaching staff that will push me and constantly expect more from me while helping me to learn and excel. 
• My promise?  I will do the work.  Whatever you need from me Coach, I’ll get it done!
• I’m open to any region and any school.  While I’m looking for a D1, D2, or NAIA school, it’s about finding the right opportunity and fit.

Experience:

• The bulk of my early and current development has been with the Sandlot organization and under the leadership of Coach Rob Gorrell.  I also played with some other club teams and learned much from those coaches as well.
• While I currently play 3B the majority of the time (great range, vacuum glove and a strong arm), I can and will proficiently play all 9.  I was a middle infielder/catcher for most of my developmental years.  Where do you need me Coach?
• As I’ve grown my swing has changed.  I have been working with my swing Coach Tony Dello for about a year.  The result?  I’m a power hitter that will give you a quality at bat.
• This past summer I had the opportunity to participate in several events and camps.  What a great learning experience!  I enjoyed the work and relationships I’m building.

Family:

• I think it’s important to say that my family is everything to me.  My parents have provided me with a strong foundation and I’m grateful.

Extras:

• Work – Part-time at a local grocery store.
• Coaching – I enjoy helping out and coaching my 13-year old brother’s baseball team.  Makes me appreciate your job!
• Charities – I love working with the Challenger Little League.
