Personal Statement
My goal for my baseball career is to succeed as a pitcher at the collegiate level with a possibility of progressing toward the professional level. My advantage over other recruits is my lefty arm and my ability to control and place my ball to where the hitter will not make contact or if they do it is weak contact. I have a four pitch repertoire that consists of a 4 Seam Fastball, Slider, Knuckle Curve, and a Circle Change. I may not be a flamethrower yet (however I am still growing and developing), but I have proven that my control and ability to work the corners have led to tremendous success in games. My academic goals are to major in either sports medicine/athletic training, sports statistics, or sports broadcasting. When I am not playing baseball, I am either watching sports or researching sports. Academics are extremely important to me and I take honors and AP classes to push myself. My ideal school will have competitive academic programs in my areas of interest. I am a hard worker both on the field and off. I am dedicated to continually improve myself in all aspects of the game. I am a team player with an extremely high baseball IQ and a tremendous love of all things baseball.
