Hunter McDade '15 Recruiting Profile

Playing college baseball is a once  in a lifetime opportunity  very few get to experience. It is a dream of mine to get that opportunity and everyday I strive to make that dream a reality. I want to go to a college where I can  better myself on the field, in the classroom, and  as a person. Since my freshman year on the high school team, I have made great improvements and plan to keep getting better not only for myself but for my team. At the end of the season, I don't want to be the guy who says, "I could have and should have worked harder."  My freshman year I made all conference team, and my team went 5-16.  My sophomore year I made all conference and all region and helped lead the team to its first state tournament appearance since 2001. I just finished up my junior season and it was a successful season. We were conference champions, regional runner-up and finished in the final four at stat tournament. Our final record was 23-6. Individually I played very well as I made all conference, all region and all state. I love baseball with all my heart, and any college which gives me a chance should know I will work my hardest to represent them well on and off the field.
