Spencer Gracie '20 Recruiting Profile

My name is Spencer Gracie, I am 16 years old and was born and raised in Hot Springs, AR. I have always had a baseball in my hand since before I could walk and this sport has always been my passion.  As a player, I am very goal oriented, driven and uplifting of others. I have been described as a leader on and off the field by teammates, coaches and teachers.  Also, I have been blessed by family in their unending support in all of my endeavors to maximize my potential as a student athlete.

My collegiate goals and aspirations are to find a college team that I can form a brotherhood with and grow as an athlete and a person.  While in college, I aspire to pursue a degree in education and coaching. My dream is to become a high school baseball coach and science teacher so I can invest my skills in other students and share my love of the sport. 

I believe that I would make a good candidate for your team because I am loyal,  hardworking and possess good time management skills. I am also very versatile as I play several positions in the infield and have a love for being behind the plate.  I am always eager to learn and master new skills and help my teammates, coaches and community whenever I can give a hand.

I believe that I am different from other athletes because of my drive and because of my faith.  I always strive to be the best person and player I can be on and off the field. Whenever I do make a mistake, I am always my biggest critic and strive to remedy the situation quickly.  I love being on the field and helping my team in any way I can to lead them to victory.  Another aspect that makes me different is my commitment to academics. School has always been a priority in my home and will continue to be when I reach the collegiate level. Finally, what sets me apart from other athletes is my faith in God and knowing that He will always provide what is best for me and my future.
