Jackson Wilson '23 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Jackson Wilson and I am a junior at Bellflower High School located in Bellflower, California.   I have been playing baseball since I was 5 years old and it has been a passion and a huge part of my life ever since. My family has always been my biggest supporter and has been my driving force in pursuing baseball on a collegiate and professional level. 

Aside from baseball, my education has always been a top priority. I have taken advantage of my school's opportunities in taking part in honors classes if my schedule allows it.  For the past two years, I have made my school's honor roll every semester and have also had near-perfect attendance all throughout high school.  Of all of my classes, I mostly enjoy my science classes such as biology and chemistry. I have also excelled in math, English, and Spanish. It is my hope to continue my education at a university that will allow me to pursue a degree in Business. Additionally, I would like to be able to explore other programs related to STEM.  

I would consider myself a passionate and hard-working athlete. I take pride in being a team player and making sure that I lift everyone up and continuously work on myself.  As an athlete, I take advantage of every opportunity to work with coaches and other players to work on my skills. As I continue to work on my skills, I welcome feedback and criticism as I am always working to be the best player to help my team. It is my hope that I can contribute to a university and represent myself, my family, and my school well. Wherever I go, I want to be the best man I am can be on and off of the field.
