Personal Statement

Playing baseball in college has been a lifelong dream of mine. At a young age, I started to idolize athletes like Mike Trout and LeBron James because of the way that they carry themselves and love the sport that they play. Working hard on and off the field comes naturally for me. I possess leadership qualities and I enjoy getting my teammates better while competing at a high level. Giving back to the youth is important to me as well, as I contribute by volunteering to coach youth programs in my area. In the classroom, I like to challenge myself by enrolling in tougher courses. I balance all activities exceptionally well, being a two-sport athlete with basketball, and I maintain a high GPA.
