Personal Statement

Baseball / Life. I loved being outdoors playing soccer or baseball, going on hikes or bike riding. Eventually my parents asked me to choose the sport I wanted to stay committed to because they were tired of taking me to multiple practices. I chose baseball.

I love the game. When I was 11 years old, I lost a fly ball in the sun, and it broke my nose. It felt impossible for me to sit out the rest of the season. I did not become afraid of fly balls but rather grateful for any opportunity to keep playing.

I don't have a problem maintaining a 4.0 GPA in school and know that I'll be attending college, but I mostly look forward to playing my favorite sport while in college.

Give me an opportunity to play. I always do my best, I am always willing to learn, and I am always respectful.

Timo pitched, played shortstop, second base, and third base. He was awarded M.V.P. and was the only one on his team to be invited to participate in the Baseball Youth Elite National Team. 09/19/2021 - All-In Membership - San Bernardino, CA Timo is a 2B who will graduate in 2025. Medium frame lean build with some strength present and room to add throughout. In the infield, he takes aggressive angles towards baseball with the ability to make routine plays. He fields from a square fielding position and has a clean exchange. He made on-line throws from a 3/4 arm slot, with a quick release, and an arm velocity up to 69mph across diamond. Arm fits the position. A right-handed hitter, he hits from an athletic and closed stance. Quiet head and level eyes enable him to track pitches well. A good contact hitter who sprayed balls to all fields with a bat exit velocity up to 67mph during his round of BP. With 4 years of continued growth and development, Timo should have a bright future on the baseball diamond.

PFA-Gold, La Mirada played in Championship game. The team received runner-up plaque https://youthworldseries.com/reno/game-day/ Josue (AKA Timo) was one of 3 players from his team to receive an invitation to participate in All-American tournament. Players were selected by opposing team coaches. Timo played 2nd and pitched. Three players from his team were selected to perform in pitching skills test and Timo was one of them. While his fast pitch was not his best, he still managed 68mph.
