Landon Reid '24 Recruiting Profile

I am a class of 2024 infielder at Christian High School in El Cajon, CA.  My freshman and sophomore years I played short stop and third base at Eastlake High School in Chula Vista, CA. I recently transferred to Christian High School because I truly value a Christian education.  I currently play with the San Diego Show and have been part of the organization for 6 years.   I began playing baseball at age five, fell in love with the game, and have played year-round ever since. I have always had passion for the game and want to play for as long as I can at the highest level. I am looking forward to developing my skills during my college years and joining a team that will make me a better player/person on and off the field.  

I pride myself on being a strong team player who works well under stress and brings positive energy to the field. I always encourage my teammates to bring out their best which is vital since baseball is a team sport. I am a leader on and off the field and I believe that bringing a strong work ethic and staying focused will only benefit any team I play with.  I am always working towards improving my skills, learning new techniques, and getting stronger mentally and physically. 

I am looking to attend a college to play the game I love while earning a great education. I have strong family values, unwavering faith, and endeavor to thrive in every aspect of my life. Understanding that playing in the MLB is not a reality for everyone, I am looking to have a strong education to secure a stabile future.
