My name is Joshua Meekins I am from San Diego, California. I attend Christian School and am currently a junior. I have been playing baseball for about seven years, and travel ball for about five years. Some things that separates me from other athletes is my leadership abilities, my power when I swing the bat and make contact, self confidence, and my knowledge of the game of baseball. I am not the type of teammate that when my teammate makes an error to get down on them, I try to pick them up, lift their spirits, let them focus on the next play and let them know they have the next play and forget about the past. When I swing and make contact I just want to hit the ball hard and let it be known that I do not have a average type swing and power I want the contact to sound and the ball to go hard and far. I am also a student of the game when I am playing I constantly am thinking when I am on the field when I am in the field playing defense or hitting I always have a job to do and I need to get it done. As a character I am always told how great of a kid I am by my parents and other adults and I set a great example for other kids. Theses are some of the things that make me different.
