Cody Allen '22 Recruiting Profile

My name is Cody Allen, I’m a pitcher at St. Joseph High School in Santa Maria, CA. I graduate in 2022. I am 17 years old and I throw about 82 mph.

My two main influences in my baseball career are my mom and my grandpa. My mom is sick with an autoimmune disease called Scleroderma so she is someone I always want to make proud and do things for her. My grandpa has always been the person out there throwing BP to me and catching for my bullpens on my best and worst days, he is the reason I still have this baseball career. My grandpa has pushed me through my career trying to make me a better ball player, and it’s worked. He has gotten me pitching lessons to go to where I am today. He’s the one that I could always count on for me to practice, he knows when I’m frustrated or mad or if I’m having an amazing day. He’s my biggest baseball influence.

I am a very consistent pitcher who mainly punches the zone. I also have a good 12-6 Curve and a changeup. I really want to make it to college for baseball and play wherever I’m needed or wanted.

I want to pitch wherever I play, I am also always subject to change positions if needed. Please, I would love the opportunity to play college ball or any ball at all. Thank you
