Goals:
With Baseball, I hope to join a program and help the team succeed. I hope to be on a team with the same common goal, whatever it is and to succeed at the goal. I continue to work hard on all different aspects of my game, until I reach my goal of playing College Baseball. After that I must continue to work hard, and work at perfecting all aspects of my game.
Accomplishments:
In June 2013, I was chosen to participate in the Bay Area World Series 2013 - this is an invitation only event that features the best talent in Northern California.
Highlight from Game at BAWS: Alameda was led on offense by De La Salle 3B Austin Dondanville, El Cerrito HS CF Perry van Eckhardt, and O'Dowd 2015 OF Nick Adgar, all of whom doubled, with Adgar nearly knocking over the left field fence with his drive.
Quote from Blaine Clemmens BAWS Founder/Director:
Nick Adgar (2015 - OF, R/R, 5'11" 210) Bishop O'Dowd HS - Adgar was one of the few rising juniors in the event and he showed well. Few players showed as much usable raw power as Adgar did. He first showed his power in the BP session and then in games he showed that his power plays in games too. His strength is complemented by good bat speed and that is exactly the combo that results in power, strength AND bat speed. Defensively he is corner outfielder and his tools fit best in left field. He has good size now and as he continues to mature he will need to make sure he works hard on his body so he can stay strong and limber. BCR - 3

Quote from Blaine Clemmens former College Coach/Pro Scout
NICK ADGAR (2015, OF/1B, R/R, 6'0" 215, 3.5 GPA) BISHOP O'DOWD HS (BCR – 4) – Physical hitter, lots of barrel contact, has power/more to come, plenty of bat speed, loose wrists/good hands, aggressive hitter, potential middle of order run producer, profiles as LF, solid arm but lacks carry, 4.59 H-1B
I am an Outfield starter for my Varsity high school team, where we were League Champions and reached the NCS playoffs. I played Outfield and 1st Base for O’Dowd, I was awarded Second-Team All League Outfielder as a Sophomore.
I finished my Junior year of high school with a 3.4 cumulative GPA.
As a Junior, we were again League Champions and reached the NCS playoffs. I played outfield and started every single game of the season. I was awarded First-Team All League Outfielder.
