Taking baseball to the next level is my goal. I am a two-sport athlete taking Honors, AP, and dual/college classes. I currently carry a 4.3 GPA. I am a good leader that does the right thing even when no one is looking. I believe in the golden rule and "paying it forward" whenever possible. I believe in the ability to win no matter the odds; all you have to do is look at the 1980 USA Olympic hockey team. I believe in sportsmanship and integrity on and off the field—I am a quintessential team player. Before becoming a senior, I completed my first college class with an A. By the end of this year, I will have another college A helping to prove I have what it takes to succeed in the classroom and on the playing field, all while managing balance with a full load of classes, two sports, extra training (batting/catching sessions/out of state tournaments, etc.)/time with family, travel, and friends—self-discipline and time management skills are a must. I work hard and am self-motivated. I am coachable and pick things up very quickly. Every challenge is an opportunity to learn and overcome. I look forward to communicating. Thank you in advance for your time and consideration. Catcher, #44 Austin Schuster Bimber
