Personal Statement
I am the youngest of four kids in a close knit, Christian, and athletic family. Sports have been a part of my life since as long as I can remember. As my older siblings excelled in club and high school sports, I worked hard to keep up with them. I realized early on that athletics seemed to come naturally for me whether it was snow skiing at 4 years old, single ski water skiing at 6 years old, playing AAU basketball, being on the swim team, playing middle school volleyball, flag football, track, or baseball. My faith and family have had a huge influence on my drive and belief that I can achieve anything I set my mind to if I work hard enough. I have dreamt about playing baseball at the highest level since I first played t-ball for Union Little League at 5 years old. My values of integrity, teamwork, positivity, and hard work keep me focused on and off the field and have helped me maintain a 4.0 in school. I am interested in a university with a high academic standard as well as a strong baseball program.
