Personal Statement

My life has been shaped by the people and passions closest to me. Growing up with a tight-knit family, I’ve learned the value of support and perseverance, lessons reinforced by my strong Christian faith. Sports have always been a cornerstone—I can’t remember a time when I wasn’t drawn to them. Attending excellent schools has broadened my worldview, enriching my experiences and fueling my drive both on and off the field. These influences have built me into a determined athlete and student, ready to take on new challenges.

Baseball grabbed my heart the moment I tossed a ball across our basement living room as a toddler—my first word was “ball,” and that love has never faded. From those early throws to stepping onto the diamond, the game has taught me resilience and self-discovery. I’ve learned I thrive under pressure and can push past setbacks, whether it’s a tough at-bat or a demanding practice. Overcoming obstacles like balancing school and training has only deepened my commitment, showing me I’ve got grit and a steady focus that set me apart.

In high school, I’m aiming to excel academically while growing as a baseball player, setting the stage for college where I hope to compete at a high level and pursue a degree that challenges me. My faith keeps me grounded, and my family supports my motivation. I will continue to spend every day I can chasing the dream I've always had, and I know that my hard work will pay off.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
