Brendan McBride '23 Recruiting Profile

Hello my name is Brendan McBride and I am a Senior at Saint Bonaventure High School in Ventura, CA. While I have always been a vocal leader in the dugout, this 2023 season I have been named the Captain of the Pitching staff for Varsity, JV, and Frosh pitchers. In 2022 I was selected for Tri Valley League 2nd Team All League as well as SBHS Varsity Pitcher of the Year. As well as SBHS JV Pitcher of the Year 2021.

Before my dad retired from the Air Force, we moved multiple times and I attended several different schools. During this time I learned how to quickly adjust to new surroundings, make new friends, and adapt to new teams and coaching philosophies. This lifestyle also instilled in me the value of hard work and being a leader on and off the field. I am looking for an opportunity to continue my education as well as excelling as a pitcher and helping your school be the best in baseball. Along with my dad's military retirement, he has service-connected disability which affords me the opportunity to utilize the California Veteran Dependent College Fee Waiver. This benefit waives mandatory system-wide tuition and fees at any State of California Community College, California State University, or University of California campus.
