Wyatt Powers '24 Recruiting Profile

I personally have loved baseball ever since I was able to pick up a ball and bat. My main goal is to get a scholarship to a d1 or d2 school for baseball along with majoring in agriculture. I have played in many different baseball leagues such as Colorado River Valley little league for about 6 years, I have played in Travel baseball for 3 years on the Western Slope Renegades, I have also played high school summer ball as a 7th grader playing for varsity as an outfielder, and last I played for just normal Rec ball for the city. I also play two other sports which are football and basketball as well. I also love the college TCU (Texas Christian University) for the sport of baseball for about the past 8 years and have been watching their baseball highlights on Youtube as much as possible along with a lot of other colleges like Vanderbilt, Florida, Georgia and more. In my baseball career I have gone to all-stars baseball for 5 years in a row and I went to state only one time taking second in the tournament. In that time I have hit 7 balls over the fence with two of them being a grand slam, plus more home runs in other games. In BP I hit a ball over a 335 foot fence down the left field line and the furthest I have hit was 367.7 feet dead center. I also lift weights at school and on weekends with my dad and i have been doing this for the past 2 years. I hope I get to see all of the coaches that are interested in me and I am going to strive to be the best as much as I can along with practicing as much as I can to get better and better nonstop for the rest of my career. I am also a freshman going to Rifle high school in Colorado
